ten80i is the result of a merger of two independent video businesses, one of these identities was Lumia Active Trust established in 1983 by Brad Churcher, in April 2010 Brad decided to merge with a new business partner and together they established ten80i Limited. 14 months later, Brad decided to buy his business partner out of the company and he continues today to trade under the name ten80i video production group. Brad undertakes most productions elements himself but he also brings together a suitable and experienced video production group as and when needed, this group consists of specialist individuals in their field of video production, from a talented multi-crew to Motion Graphic Designers to Scriptwriters to Voiceover Talent and so much more.
Brad Churcher has been producing corporate video and arts video for over 28 years, with a regular repeating clientele base and new business by word of mouth because of the quality of work he produces, he has produced countless corporate videos for a huge range of companies with an equally vast range of services, within the arts, he has produced over 100 dance productions and several music videos for some leading New Zealand musicians.
Brad Churcher has a high flare for creativity but is always in-keeping with Brand Accuracy and Brand Integrity, he has high work ethics and is highly experienced as a camera operator, live video switching operator and a video postproduction editor; he also regularly undertakes camera operator and live event switching operator contractual work for other professional video production companies, he has undertaken many productions of various sizes in most of the major theatres, event & conference centres around the Auckland area and other event centres, corporate and industrial environments all over New Zealand and abroad.
The company name “ten80i” is a play on the new standard of High Definition Video. Full High Definition video is made up of 1920 x 1080i (the i indicates interlaced pixels), hence ten80i.
